As our first dedicated Lead Product Designer, you will be part of a close knit go-to-market group and will be responsible for translating ideas, market needs, customer feedback and business requirements into design collateral. You enjoy experimenting and testing out different hypotheses to distill complex input into practical solutions that delight users. This role will require you to be flexible and adaptable enough to work across business development, marketing, engineering and customer success to drive the product forward. 

Your work will create digital experiences that make insurance more accessible and affordable for the next billion people.


UX Development: Develop customer journey maps and user stories from leading design workshops and interviewing customers to deliver delightful end to end experiences. 

UI Design: Develop creative solutions and translate UX concepts into wireframes, mockups and engaging UI Designs. Build and maintain our UI design guidelines to enable design consistency and rapid iterations. 

Product Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and bring designs to production. 

Usability Testing: Build and execute thoughtful data-driven experiments to gather user insights and analytics to improve the product.  

Go to market: Collaborate on strategy and lead the design of brand assets needed to drive customer engagement (main website, social media, banners, print ads, logos, flyers, signage, multi-page PDFs, show guides, etc

  • Have 5+ years of experience in digital visual design, UX design and design thinking
  • Experience leading design and customer journey mapping workshops
  • Experience conducting data-driven experiments to improve user engagement on product
  • Experience working in a startup environment managing fast paced data-driven iterations 
  • Strong bilingual communication in English and Chinese 
  • Experience in fintech is an asset
